Nick Seddon

Nick leads the firm’s Corporate team.

He has previously served at board level with two global law firms and was Asia Managing Partner for both firms. He spent 15 years in Hong Kong.

He is a corporate transaction lawyer with significant experience of private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions over thirty plus years. During his career Nick has led major transactions valued at many 10s of millions. Whilst at Hamilton Pratt he has overseen significant growth in franchise related M&A activity.

Outside of the law Nick has been Chief Executive of a substantial technology business, a professional services consultant and a partner in two boutique corporate finance businesses. This gives him an unusually broad transaction experience as lawyer, investor, principal and advisor. He gets a kick out of balance sheets and structures but likes to get deals done as painlessly as possible.

Interests: Outside the law Nick’s passions are classic cars and gardening, passions he is pleased that are shared by his young son.
