Hamilton Pratt is committed to delivering an outstanding service to their clients. If you are a client and are dissatisfied with any element of our service (including your bill), you should contact the person working on the matter for you who will be happy to discuss the matter with you and, if applicable, initiate our Complaints Procedure (a copy of which will be sent to you on request). If for any reason we are unable to resolve this, you may contact the Legal Ombudsman, PO Box 6167, Slough, SL1 0EH; tel: 0300 555 0333; email: enquiries@legalombudsman.org.uk), which deals with complaints against lawyers registered in England and Wales. The time limit for referral of complaints to the Legal Ombudsman is ordinarily 6 months from our final response to your complaint, and one year from when you realised there was a concern. See www.legalombudsman.org.uk for further information. If your complaint is about your bill, you may also apply to the court for an assessment of the bill under part III of the Solicitors’ Act 1974.
