New Franchisors - Recruitment Process

Recruiting franchisees is a time consuming and expensive business.  New franchisors are keen to recoup their initial investment by recruiting franchisees but great care has to be taken to ensure that you do not inadvertently open yourself to claims from franchisees that the franchise has been “over sold” and that misleading information has been provided to them to encourage them to enter into the franchise.

All materials used by franchisors as part of the recruitment process should be analysed to reduce the risks of a claim for misrepresentation.  We will tell you what you can and cannot safely say, the appropriate disclaimers and warnings and the information you need to keep to protect yourself from such claims.
