Problem Solving
The UK continues to be a leading centre for dispute resolution in terms of both litigation through the English courts and through ADR.
English Law
English law is based on a common law system where Acts of Parliament and other legislation are interpreted by the courts, and so it is able to evolve over time in response to changing conditions.
When commercial parties choose English law as the governing law of their contract, they should also stipulate that any disputes under it will be subject to either English litigation, or a particular form of ADR.
