Resales are becoming more important for many franchisors with mature franchise systems and, indeed, many franchisors actively encourage franchise resales to “refresh” and invigorate their network with new blood.  Preliminary research suggests that appropriately selected incoming franchisees will perform better than existing franchisees who may have started their franchise from scratch.

The resale process is complex and “heavy” on professional input and therefore expensive.  We have worked together with a group of the UK’s leading franchisors to develop documentation and procedures which streamline the process, reduce costs and reduce the risks of the sale aborting.
